ROTF Leader Megatron custom - with instructions

Description

WARNING: LARGE IMAGE! MIGHT TAKE DEVIANT ART FOREVER TO RENDER!

So here at last is my custom painted and modified ROTF Leader Class Megatron!

Wow, I am still so amazed at how well this guy turned out! I knew I could do a bit of customizing someday but I didn't think I'd get quite this far this early! He's my second TF custom and I was able to get the left arm so spot-on! :D

Well, I won't go into detail about him, the picture explains a lot itself. But I will say this: the tips of the claw and his sword are made of soft plastic and for some odd reason are taking forever to dry. They still feel a bit wet and gooey and may smear on my fingers if I rub hard enough. I'm not sure if it didn't go well with the enamel or something but it could have also been the temperature of the garage I did this in. I also should find a varnish of some kind to coat him in soon along with my movie 1 custom Megatron. I may show an update pic if I do.

Anyways, I have another pic like this of him in many various poses as well as his alt mode in the works. It may not come soon but stay tuned.

This custom is one-of-a-kind and is not for sale, sorry.

You did quite a few modifications to this fellow. Very creative techniques as well. I'm duly impressed! The brushed paint really did add to the look. But making articulated parts is what impresses me the most! I think that takes some special skills and a steady hand to work with small parts. The Lego joints was a clever idea. Its something to think about for any attempts of customizing in the future. ( Not that i plan to anytime soon LOL) It was also a nice thing to include the instructions for what you did! Hope to see more of this on your page.
