Me in DANMAKUMAN's style

Another 'style challenge' pic in the style of the wonderfully talented........DANMAKUMAN!!

Out of all the style challenges I've done so far, this has got to be my favorite one!  It took a while to get some things right but it was fun and holy crap did it turn out cute!!    One thing I've noticed is that Dan likes to use some solid shapes for the shading of the coats but does what I do and gradient-shades the mane and tail.  It took a bit of extra work to construct the shapes on his coat for the shading parts as well as the lighting in both the coat and hair but they can be used very well for some overlay effects that makes it very eye-popping.  Kinda reminds me of the vector art they use for the early 2000s Sonic games like the Sonic Advance series and Sonic Adventure 2.  Of course one very interesting thing is the eyes.  I see most artists either using one solid color without a black pupil or just doing the color and black for the entire eye but his are a whole different story and they sure do glow!  It gives the pony face a cute animeish style that I just can't get enough of.  And I used this pic as reference on what the background piece should look like and it turned out pretty good even with the drop shadow and glowing outlines. 

Well I guess that's all to say about this one.  Again, I had a lot of fun making it and looking at it gives me so much diabeetus!!!    Thanks again to DANMAKUMAN and everyone go watch him right now!  He's a great artist who, much like me, can draw adorable ponies and some super sexy ladies!
