Sculpture commission rates, rules, and discounts

This journal entry is a list of my prices, rule, and discounts FOR SCULPTURES. It is recommended that you read through this at least once before contacting me. My profile page will have a message saying if I am open or not but you can visit this entry any time to get a good idea of what I am looking for and if you have any questions, feel free to ask below. Also keep in mind that this list is subject to change and I will update every now and then as I see fit.

PRICES:

1. Regular sized ponies start at $50. They stand about 3.5" tall, about 4" long, and about 1.75" wide. Here is my Applejack sculpture for reference:
2. Fillies and colts start at $30.
3. Tall or big ponies like Mr. Cake or Big Mac start at $60.
4. Taller ponies like the princesses, Nightmare Moon, Sombra, or Chrysalis will start at $80.
5. Large and/or very complex characters like Discord start at around $100. (the more clay needed and the more details will make it pricier so prepare)
6. Baby ponies or really little ponies like Pipsqueak or Snips start at $20.
7. Shipping will cost $7 for US. $15 for international (these are subject to change). If you want it insured, I am not sure how much it will be but when I find out how much my PO charges for it, I will put it down.
8. ***I will have measurements for other ponies down once I have made some to look at. Go off of the dimensions of the AJ one for reference on the others.***

Other important things to know about prices:

• Add costume or clothes – $10-$20 or more depending on the complexity of their clothes. Simple accessories like AJ's hat or Apple Bloom's bow are just $5.
• Adding a stand or some sort of environmental piece for stability or looks (ex: a patch of grass with flowers) - about $20 or more depending on the complexity.
• Other poses besides the regular standing pose will increase by about $20 or more depending on the complexity. Simple things like the head turning will have no extra charge.
• Price is determined by the size, paint use, and complexity. For example, Twilight and Rainbow Dash will be about $60 because of the extra hair colors and Twilight's wings.
• Ponies without cutie marks will be $5 less.

*****Keep in mind that price is subject to change depending on your request and how long it ends up taking.

RULES:

Please read these rules before asking me for a commission though I’m sure most of it will already come as common sense.

1. I accept payment through PayPal ONLY. No points, no free requests, no art-trades.
2. Right now I am ONLY doing MLPFIM characters.  Once I gain more experience I may take non-pony sculptures.
3. OCs are allowed (you are responsible for providing reference for your OC unless I am already aware of what they look like). OCs that have overdone designs will either be turned down or redesigned to look better with your permission.
4. Nothing that includes excessive blood, gore, or any other form of violence.
5. No text on your sculpture that includes crude language, swearing, or racism.
6. No drug or alcohol references will be allowed on the sculpture.
7. No pornographic sculptures.
8. My initials will be on the bottom of the sculpture somewhere like one of the bottom of their hoofs.
9. If you are interested, please note me via Deviant Art ONLY. Other websites like Tumblr and YouTube have very bad messaging systems but I have a folder set up on my DA notes to organize the messages specifically about commissions.
10. Be respectful and professional when commissioning me please. Take your time to read this journal carefully so you aren’t surprised with the rules.
11. When you pay me via PayPal, DO NOT click on the box that says "Sending money to family or friends", click on the one that says "Paying for goods or services". The "family or friends" option is only meant for donations whereas the other is for commissions. Please remember to send it for goods or services, otherwise PayPal can come after me suspecting me of dodging required fees.
12. I cannot accept any refunds one I have been paid. Don't buy from me unless you are ABSOLUTELY SURE you are able to afford it.
13. Buyers under 18 should ask their parents for permission before purchasing from me. I will be requiring your home address or P.O. box address to ship it to you so if your parents don't feel comfortable with you giving it to me, don't buy.

Other guidelines (BE SURE TO READ):

• Sculptures are a lot more involved than drawings so these can take time. Please be patient with me while I am working on them and do not constantly harass me asking if it is done yet. It will get done when it gets done.
• When your sculpture is finished, I will send you a note and post images. Once that is done, I will package it and ship it as soon as possible. Please allow at least one or two days for me to get this done. I cannot guarantee the item will ship fast. If you live far away, it will take longer.
• If your item does not make it because it gets lost, let me know. I may be able to send a refund if I am able to get my money back from USPS.
• I am on the internet a lot so keeping in touch with me should not be a problem. If I am unable to use the internet for a day or two due to connectivity issues or vacation or something, I will let you know.  If you send me a message and I don’t reply for a day or two, send it again because I may have missed it or something due to a lot of messages per day.
• Please be timely when noting me about your sculpture.  If you don't have the money to pay me just yet or you are going to be away from your computer for a while, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE so I can reserve your spot without wondering where you are.  If I am still waiting on payment/to hear back from you and you have not informed me that you'll be absent for a while, I will cancel your reserved slot and give it to someone else.
• Make sure you have enough money for your commission and make sure you have a PayPal and know the password to get in. For those of you who don’t have one but want to use your parents', please ask for their permission first.
• Once you and I have discussed your commission, I’ll give you my email address so you can pay me via paypal whenever you are ready.
• When you get your sculpture, please take are of it. It is fragile so handle it with care. Keep it out of sunlight and areas of intense heat or the sealant may get tacky and melt. Keep away from children and pets. Inspect for dust every now and then. Keep the bubble wrap and the box for storage and transportation.
• If you break your sculpture on your own I cannot refund the money. If you are willing to pay me a bit to fix it, let me know.
• If your item breaks during travel, describe the damage to me and if I realize I am at fault, I will fix it free of charge. You are responsible for paying for the shipping to have it sent back to me though. If it was clearly from the carriers mishandling the item, I cannot fix it free of charge.
• I will wrap the sculptures as securely as I can in their boxes. I cannot promise the USPS will handle it carefully but I will be sure to put "FRAGILE" on the box.
• I can combine shipping if you order multiple sculptures but this will only work if you want to have them shipped together. If you would rather have them sent separately, you will have to pay for shipping for both sculptures.

DISCOUNTS:

1. Returning customers get a 5% discount. This includes people who have commissioned me on drawings in the past so if you have commissioned me at least once before, this discount applies to you!
2. Veteran customers (people who commissioned me at least 5 times) get a 10% discount.
3. Sculptures that you want me to make as a gift for a friend get a 5% discount.
4. People who ask for 2 sculptures or more in one request get a 10% discount off of the total price.
5. You can only use ONE discount per commission.  I will use the biggest discount.  (For example, if you are a returning customer who wants a holiday pic, only the holiday pic discount will work)
