Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Really busy week ahead and a question

Well guys, this is my last week before finals and I am up to my eyeballs in work. Still gotta finish filming the movie project and edit it. I've already recorded the voices for it, now I just gotta edit together every scene and add effects and sounds and music and voices and stuff. Sadly, because it can only be 30 minutes, it's gonna be somewhat rushed. I was going to see if I could find some time to work on a YouTube version that is the longer uncut version, but that probably wont' happen, but at least I tried. You guys are really gonna love the visual effects I'm incorporating into it though, let me tell you!

And then of course there's another art project, a website I gotta make for my web design class, and a test to study for. Hopefully this will all go well. Keep me in your prayers...

Now for the question: I'm sure a lot of you guys are still anxious for me to start my big fanfiction project. You know, the one about Celestia, Luna, and Discord back when they were young? That will be out some time this summer hopefully, but I also intend to give you all some teaser images and character pics and junk. The question is, do you guys want me to give a quick little teaser/summary thing in text form in a journal entry soon? It might have some spoilers, but it'll get you all ready for what is to come your way and help you to understand the plot a bit. Let me know in the comments.

I'm not even sure. I grew up on idea of Unicron being giant, planet-eating planet. >_< Of course, with his robot times also, but you get the idea. That's my childhood and I'm sticking to it.
And there is also a human issue. They were actually, compared to some other shows, pretty useless. Why did they get so much screen time in that case?
