Please do NOT repost my commissions, credit or no!

First of all, I apologize heavily to anyone still waiting on a commission.  I've been a bit lazy but the summer has also gotten busier than I expected not just due to con-preparation but also the work I have been doing for art for FillyCon.  :iconmlp-hot-rod: is still waiting on a comic commission and yeah, it's big and will take a while, but I still feel bad that it's been taking so long to get to.  There are also 3 people still waiting on sculpture commissions.  I will do my best to try to find the time to get a few in-progress sketches done or something but after FillyCon, things are sure to wind down and I will have much more time to get these things done.

Anyway, the reason I made this journal is because recently I had to add a person to my blacklist for commissions due to negligent behavior with his commission.  It was a nude edit of a pinup I gave him a while ago.  Yes, I finally drew one.  ^^;  When he commissioned the image, he asked for a nude and covered up version of it but I said no to the nude and he kept trying to coax me into doing it despite my constant explanations that I don't do nudes.  Well finally I convinced him but while doing the commission, I said to Hell with it and did the nude edit anyway not because of his constant pleas to do it but because I just felt like finishing the "nippleless" version of it anyway.  Now I wish I did not.

I told him specifically that he was not to repost that nude edit and sure enough, a few days ago, he did.  Thankfully, he took it down when I sent him a note telling him to do so and I told him I was adding him to my blacklist.  He did not respond.

Now people who've bought from me in the past have carelessly reposted their commissions before and sometimes they do it with the version that has no watermark which I tell people not to do because having the watermark prevents art theft and if it is posted publicly without one, it makes it easier for art thieves to take and steal or reedit and claim as their own.  I have a rule for my commissions that tells people not to do this.  When you ask for a commission, you best read those rules.  Most of you seem to know what you are getting into, this guy obviously did not.  It's getting to a point where I'm going to have to ask people if they have read the rules or telling them that they are to not repost it anywhere.

The reason why I blacklisted him but not the other people in the past is because his behavior with trying to get me to do the nude edit was pushy and insensitive and it was getting to a point where I should have just told him no.  He recently sent me another note asking me to do a nude edit of the recent Rainbow Dash pinup I drew but I don't do edits of an already-existing picture unless the person wants a commission that has 2 versions.  I feel it's wrong to make money off of such simple edits or alternate versions just cuz some person wants to see a girl naked.

Now there have been instances in the past when I let this slide a bit.  For example, :iconenigmamystere: commissioned me to make tons of vector poses of his OC for an analysis video project and my post of the commission just showed one of the poses with a watermark and I let him post the whole sheet to his DA so that people could know he was going to use them but he credited me obviously.

If you are going to repost the image EVEN THOUGH it might have credit for me and a link to my gallery, this is where I draw the line.  I know you are crediting me but I don't want this.  I think it's unethical for people on DA to repost another person's artwork even with credit because DA is not meant for that.  DA is meant to be a place where you post your own artwork.  Even if you don't draw well, I'd rather see that than a bunch of stuff that you commissioned from someone just to say "HEY, LOOK AT MY AWESOME OC!" or "HEY, THIS TOTALLY AWESOME HORSE-FAMOUS ARTIST DREW MY OC!  AM I LUCKY OR WHAT?!".  Do not do that.

Now I think it's quite obvious that I have standards with nudes and felt bashful about having such art of mine on the internet, that's the reason I didn't post it myself and why I told the buyer to not post it anywhere, but it has been leaked technically and is no doubt elsewhere on the internet for people to see.  Nothing I can do about it but because of this guy's unprofessional behavior, I am never doing nude edits of ANYONE'S pinup commission, not even if I feel like it.

For anyone wondering, the image was not hentai or anything (hate that stuff), it was just a leafless version of this pic.

So yeah, please remember this when commissioning me and if any of you out there have bought from me in the past and have reposted one of your comms without me knowing, please delete it right now.

I was afraid this was going to happen when you mentioned doing a edit I knew it be online one day but i honestly didn't think it be the commissioner to do it. sadly i don't think you can get it off the web without visiting some rather sexual sites. I'd say use this as an example for the next person who is like "hey i'll pay X amounts more for a nude edit" just tell them this is why you won't. I am so sorry you have to actually write this and make this clear it should of been common knowledge. hopefully this will get flushed behind the countless other nude MLP art and lost and forgotten so you do not have to be reminded of it if it's anywhere out there still.
