I say "dream" cuz it wasn't necessarily a nightmare cuz it wasn't really scary, more like disappointing. Anyways...
I dreamt it was TrotCon and for some reason it was being held in a building that looked a lot like the place I work my part time job at. It was almost more like a meetup but everything was totally wrong: the con was 2 days instead of the usual 3, there was barely anyone there, no VAs, show staff or any special fandom guests, there were less than 10 vendors, the vendor hall was a really small room only able to fit a few tables and only a few families with their kids showed up. I didn't even have all my stuff together. Instead of my buttons I had the paper circle cut-out prints and my 4x6 prints were tiny for some reason. I didn't really sell anything on the first day, instead there was this other artist who was a jeweler who let me keep this jewelry craft I made at her table so it wouldn't confuse people and it sold for like $5 which went to me. Nothing I made sold the rest of that day probably because I forgot to put down some paper that showed the prices so I kept looking for flash-cards to use but they all seemed to be withered or already used and I could never tell anyone cuz I kept getting up and leaving my table to go find supplies. The next day things were better but rather than families being there it was more of a typical brony crowd but for some reason they were all my old high school classmates rather than bronies I know in the fandom and they weren't even buying stuff in the vendor hall, just wandering around looking. There was virtually no one there that you would recognize from the fandom at all. The only other thing I managed to sell was a $15 print so I made $20 altogether and was really pissed off by the time it was over cuz of all the money I spent getting prepared for this con.
Well that sure was a weird dream. It was one of those dreams that you think is the actual thing as you're in the middle of it cuz nothing really surreal happened. Well I was glad to see it was a dream cuz can you imagine how much that would suck if we had a con like that? That made Las Pegasus Unicon look good!
But hey, I'm not scared, if anything that dream helped me prepare better. Heck, I did get one little bit of inspiration from it: I recall having a tryptic with all three of my 11x17 prints on display for people to see before buying the real thing. Only problem is that the "Equestrian Royalty" one is portrait so that wouldn't do too well. If anyone with vendoring experience has any better ideas for how to display those prints, please leave a comment with advice. They are 11x17 poster paper so they're pretty big and won't do good just lying on the table with everything else. They are also a bit flimsy. I know cuz I just got them in the mail.
But yeah, that was my odd dream about TrotCon. From time to time I have wondered if I'll really do good enough at the vendor there but at least now I know it could be much worse. :3

Nightwatch's Flaws
Before we get started, just letting you all know, I have chapter 6 of Ester Dracos in progress, but there's a song in it which I'm composing, and as per the usual, it is taking a while to finish. After some difficulty, I have managed to come up with a tune now. It sounds good, I'm just getting to a more challenging section and it might complicate things. I actually have the first chapter of "Ghost of Grogar" complete (proofreading still needed), but I will wait on that one before it is uploaded. There are no songs in that story, so I should be able to get through it quicker, but I do want to at least get the cover art done as well as a picture of the "Harmony Clubhouse" tree, so please be patient. Trust me, it will be worth the wait. ***Spoilers ahead for those that have yet to read My Little Sister is a Dragon: Ester Dracos Arc*** In the most recent chapter of Ester Dracos, we learn that Nordo Dracos, the land Buttercream might have come from is governed by King Rubble, a dragon
New FHS S2 Episode titles and synopses (Eps 4-9)
I wanted to wait till after MBFPW was finished since the description for ep 4 is a bit spoilery, but it's been done for a while now so here are more titles and synopses, and this time I'm going to reveal a whopping 6 of them! I was still deciding on some of their titles, but I have them all now, so here we go! 4. Changeling My Mind - Discord gets other former villains together to start a Villains Anonymous session for Chrysalis, but can they talk any amount of sense into the diabolical changeling queen? 5. Piece of Pumpkin Cake - Pumpkin Cake is preparing to enter a baking contest with Buttercream helping her out, but things don’t go as planned. 6. Rotten to the Core - Apple Chip and Annie Smith endure bullying from one of their classmates in Ponyville. Annie’s kind nature doesn’t help make him stop so Chip considers drastic measures to deal with the bully. 7. Do As I Say, Not As I Daring Do - Flurry Heart and her friends go to see the new Daring Do movie in theaters. Storm Streak
We're Going on an Adventure song finalized!
Just thought I'd announce that I finally got around to making a more finalized version of the "We're Going on an Adventure" song from My Little Sister is a Dragon! There's still no singing, but it sounds way better and turned out just how I heard it in my head! You can listen to it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14kNrWXphmZ07Jg-G22YCxNY6qAOOkasb/view?usp=sharing And the lyrics can be found here. They pretty much go along with the piano notes. Try and follow along with it. After doing "How Did I Get So Lucky?", I was more confident to finish my older songs beyond having just a piano version. I'm still figuring out "You'll Never Be Alone" cuz that one is a bit difficult. I figured out a way to combine several segments with different BPMs and am learning other techniques that can make these songs sound better, but I really want for YNBA to sound as good as I can make it. With how much I've improved with musical composition, I feel less like I might need to enlist someone
My thoughts on MLP G5 and how it relates to FHS
I've wanted to make this journal entry ever since I saw Chapter 6 of MLP: Make Your Mark, so I think it's time I finally do, cuz there is a lot to unpack. Be warned that there will be spoilers if you have not watched Ch 6 yet. If you'd like to skip to the part with me talking about how this relates to Flurry Heart's Story, scroll down past the embedded videos. Full disclosure: I was not impressed. Yeah, it's great to see a familiar (albeit different) face again, I do think it was nice to have some episodes dedicated to a climactic battle with Opaline, and there are finally some new villains for a change, but...they made TONS of mistakes. Let's go in order starting off with "Isle of Scaly". First of all: the dragons... sweet mother of Celestia, the dragons. I'm just gonna say it now: their designs are ugly. They aren't bad designs for dragon characters per se, but the established designs we had in G4 were way more unique and totally different. Here, we have them all as

What again happened at the Las Vegas convention? I know it didn't go well.
