First of all, just to reiterate, I'm not making a new DA account for my pinups like I inquired about a few days ago, everything will stay on this account.  Here is the folder where I'll keep my pinups if you ever feel like going back and looking at them:  aleximusprime.deviantart.com/g…

Alright, now on to the subject of this journal:  As it implies, yes, I have a looooot of stuff to do, talking mainly about commissions.  The week after TrotCon wasn't the ideal time to be working as I was busy with family being up.  My cousins just left today though so with all the festivities over and not needing to plan like crazy for an upcoming convention, I can finally get working on these things.

I've got like around 20ish different drawn commissions to get working on (I'm working on one as we speak actually), several Patreon pics I owe, and that Tirek custom for ZsoronZ who has been waiting far too long for me to finish it.  I know I've been busy with TrotCon preparations and everything but I feel I really owe him for waiting so long for that to get done.

I know I keep saying this but I apologize to anyone who has been waiting for a while on commissions, I did not expect this year to be quite so hectic, I didn't even think I was going to get in TrotCon.  As much as I love being a service to some of my own fans, I do think it's time I got out there and made a real living though.  I started commissions 2 years ago because every place I applied to in my area didn't hire me so as a last ditch effort I opened for commissions and it has been going very well ever since.  Problem is that now I have found myself having to make more money in a month than I used to since I just turned 26 and am now being forced to pay for healtchare and I am not sure commissions is the answer to it all.  Working on your own schedule might sound less stressful but it is anything but.  It can be difficult to keep your own schedule and if you don't prioritize, things can really pile up and I'm afraid I've become a victim of that.  I am going to really need a real full-time job soon if I want to be able to pay off all my monthly debts without landing myself in any financial trouble.  I'll be lucky if I can make it to BronyCon AND pay off my school loans for this month.

Again, I love doing commissions for you guys, but if I do get a job I may have to close indefinitely mainly because I just won't have the time for them anymore.  Doing commissions has helped me with business but my life is changing and I need to start taking charge.  I obviously plan to keep doing fanart on this account and contribute to the brony fandom and attend conventions to sell more art if I am accepted, I have a lot of cool things planned, I just will have to start taking my real life issues more seriously.  I'm nearing my 3rd year of being a jobless, carless, college graduate and I feel bad to have to admit that.

With all of that said, I am STILL open for commissions in case anyone is interested, but once I get hired somewhere where I can make a decent amount of money, I may close at that time, so let me know if you want something.  Just remember that I have a huge backlog of things to work on so don't expect it to get done overnight.  Also, my Twilight sculpture is still for sale if anyone wants her:

SO yeah, that's all I needed to talk about just in case anyone needed to know.  I'll be cranking out as much commission artwork as I can for the next few weeks but next weekend I'll be at BronyCon so I'll have to plan accordingly.  Stay tuned if you are waiting on a commission.  :)
