Bronies please read

Well this might not apply to ALL bronies necessarily, but this is an issue I'd like to address to the whole community.

I know we are really into the G4 show and for probably 95% of us, that is our absolute favorite one.  HOWEVER....... I have some news for you guys:  there are some fans out there who ARE into the previous series besides Friendship is Magic!  Yes, it is true.  Some of the most well-known fans like egophiliac are fans of the classical My Little Pony shows/movies/toys.  So why am I telling you all this?  Well because to be honest we really need to respect those people, regardless of how we feel about the old versions.  I know that the older versions didn't have as high of quality of animation/voicing/plot/everything as Friendship is Magic does, but you know what?  Some people just like them, period.  

I've been hearing some stories of some brony trolls who have picked on hardcore fans who like the G1-G3 versions and this has got to stop.  One of my old DA friends, whom I will leave anonymous, is a fan of G1, G2, and even G3.  She's told me she's gotten some crap from brony trolls who hate on her for liking the old versions just because they think they are crap and I think that's given us a bad image to her.  Now luckily she is very mature and open-minded and she believes me when I tell her that there are plenty of nice bronies out there but she just doesn't feel very attracted to G4 just yet.  I know it is a bit of a rare case that any MLP fan wouldn't like G4 but there is nothing wrong with that.  A lot of us grow up with a certain cartoon or movie or series of some kind in our childhoods and we get so attached to it that when we see a newer version it might be so completely different that we might not like it.  Now the majority does like G4 I know, but we gotta respect the minority.  My friend has had to disable comments on some of her G1-G3 artwork because of haters and that has got to stop.

For anyone out there who is a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic but isn't a fan of the older MLP's, please do NOT pick on anyone who is a fan of the older ones.  They are people and they are still bronies technically.  Now my friend has her own opinions and likes and if she doesn't want to enjoy the new show then by all means let her, it's not going to affect you, because I promise she will not pick on any fans of G4.

So yeah, I just felt I needed to tell everyone that.  I don't want to see any hate, this isn't how we bronies are supposed to act.  Just remember guys: LOVE AND TOLERANCE.
