There most likely won’t be that many seasons with FHS, but know knows. With MLSiaD, it’s more like a mini-series with one season. The first two episodes/arcs have been longer: about 10 chapters but some in the future could be shorter (or longer) and right now I’m looking to around 12-13ish episodes in total.

I’ve already revealed that the bushwoolies and Princess Porcina are coming up, but I could use more. I’m not going to say who or what exactly I have in mind right now as it could all change.

I think I’ve kind of already made it obvious who the main villain will be, but I’ll let you guys figure out who that is. Why? Well let’s just say he deserved better in the official show.

The summer will end at the end of Season 2. Not all of the show will take place in just a few months, just the first two seasons will. I was originally going to have 26ish episodes for season 1, but I decided to split it in half and make MBFPW a finale. If you add S1 and S2 together, it would be the proper amount of episodes for FiM, but some of them are so long and would be more like 2-parters, so I did the right thing by doing 13 per season.

There’s an episode where they will appear. They won’t have tremendous importance, but they’ll be present.

I always wondered this myself. I like to think any identification would say what year she was born but probably have something noting how time passed for her in over 8 years. Technically and legally she’d still be a child, the same age she was when she was turned to stone, but if it didn’t happen, I’d like to think she’d be 18-20 years old now.

I think you mean Nightwatch. Nightlight is Twilight’s dad. XD Anyway, I am thinking about that. There’s a story coming up where he could make such a presence to her family, but it won’t happen when we first see him. Nighty is busy with something important right now, but he’ll show up soon, and when he does, it’s gonna be epic!

Oh boy, where do I begin…

We all know that in “Cheesy as Pie”, I was going to have Cheese do a musical number to get ready to propose to Pinkie, but I lost my motivation, which kinda fit the theme of that story anyway, so I just didn’t write it or even reveal any notes or lyrics. Notice how in the final chapter of MBFPW, Pinkie and Cheese say they both had songs they were working on at that time and ended up mixing them together to make How Did I Get So Lucky? The song Cheese was working on was pat of HDIGSL and Pinkie had a song she was working on too. One of them had the lyrics while the other had the tune. I admit this was afterthought, but someday I might update CaP to have Cheese going over his own song.

“Villains Anonymous” was originally going to be very different, but my memory on that is fuzzy. I can’t remember if I’ve said this before, but I actually thought up the plot for that episode before the end of the show when I was imagining how they could bring Tirek back to reform him like they did with Discord, but it doesn’t go so well. The idea ended up being recycled. Before I started drafting that story, I remember it being a little different in my head, but I kept the overall idea of Fluttershy and Discord trying to reform him and he is somewhere on Fluttershy’s property while it’s happening, but the lesson would be that not everyone will reform like Discord did.

“Dream of Alicornication” wasn’t supposed to be quite as depressing at the end. Flurry was originally supposed to use Poison Joke on Cozy to make her horn droopy like Twilight’s in S1. Cozy was also originally going to go back to Zecora’s hut to take the bath to cure her of the Poison Joke, only to find her horn disappears anyway since her powers were taken away earlier. Given how horrific it would be for her to see her fake parents fade away and then have to tell Flurry the truth, this had to be changed. Such emotion would lead into “Oh, Mother, Where Art Thou?” quite well.

There are a ton of other things that were just different in my mind back when the summaries were drafted, but I don’t have time to go over all of them. If you go back through my journals/blog posts, you can probably find me talking about them in the follow-ups after the stories are done.

I was particularly curious about Winona since we saw her puppies or (grandpuppies) in "The Last Problem." Also, where is Tank? Pet tortoises live 50-100 years, so he should be around for a while.

I’d like to think Opal and Owlowiscious are still around, but sadly Winona probably passed on not too long ago. She would leave behind some pups and grand-pups though. And yeah, Tank is obviously still around. I’m mad that I keep forgetting to fit him in to a story involving Stormy. Harmony Passionflower from FIMfiction asks: I know the MLP comics aren't technically canon, but I'm aware that Spike at one point met a cute dragoness named Mina. She's into comic books just like him and even runs a comic book store (quite fitting since she only appears in the comics). While it's never explicitly stated, she and future Spike appear to be together in one of the last comics. Would you consider her as a potential girlfriend for your Spike?

She doesn’t interest me so she will probably never be in FHS, and if she does, she would definitely not be Spike’s girlfriend. I’m still working out a love interest for Spike and I think I’ve got a good idea coming along for that.

I swear, I cannot for the life of me find a high-quality image of that Gameloft pic of adult Flurry, but it does appear too similar to Cadance’s. Whatever it is, I probably won’t go with it and will just make my own.

That’s another thing I’ve given some consideration. I’ve batted around a few ideas for how they could return, but I’d probably give them updated designs so they don’t look like the Mane Six anymore. We’ll see.

Oh I’d love to do that if I could! A few people have asked me if there’s anyone I’d like to ask to help out with it. I don’t think there’s enough interest from anyone who can do it professionally. If FHS and MLSiaD get far more popular and there’s a lot of demand, I might approach some people, or I might just wait till a team of people ask if they can do it and if I’d like to help. I’d be down for helping out a little, but it would be a ton of work, and it’s not 2012 anymore so I don’t know if there’s any interest in such a project. I will say this though: If you guys want to see this come to fruition and see my stories get more appreciation in general, the best you can do is tell your friends and post about it on other social media, linking the chapters and art and such. Make a big deal about it and others will notice!

I love pretty much all of them. I really love the dragon characters like Spike’s family and Nighty and Butter’s dragon friends they’ve met so far. I’ve put a lot of heart and soul into them and treat them with care in writing them. I work extra hard to make them cute and lovable and have great personalities, and above all, a really colorful and well-thought out design. The art that has turned out for them astounds even me. I also really like what I have going on with some villains like the Brotherhood of Grogar and the Cult of Eternal Night. The villains are being written as legitimate threats and with some depth to them. Like we saw with Noctura, there are villains with the potential to reform, but others are pure evil.

In time. Pinkie and Cheese are on their honeymoon right now, but I haven’t written them in for any of the next few stories coming up, but I could find a way to fit them in since they’ll be settling down in Ponyville. Their major role during the arc of Flurry’s first summer in Ponyville is kind of complete, but it doesn’t mean I can’t insert them into future stories. There are a few cute ideas I have of Pinkie and Butter working on some big celebration together.

BlueandSilverWolf from DA asks: Have you considered bringing back Lightning Dust and Wind Rider if so what would you do with them?

Not yet. I’m not really interested enough in either of them to give it a try, but I could come up with something. Maybe Wind Rider would be more likely since we only saw him once. Lightning Dust kind of feels like she’s already had her arc completed in the show, but anything could happen.

BlueandSilverWolf from DA asks: What does Svengallop have against Twilight and the other royals because the way I see it shouldn't Applejack be the one he'd be mad at because she exposed him to Coloratura.

Well we never saw him visibly notice what Applejack was doing, whereas he saw Twilight doing that playback spell to expose him. He most likely figured out Applejack was in on it too, and he would know who all of Twilight’s friends are since that is public knowledge. He already hated anypony from the Equestrian countryside, much like how we see some rich city folk hating on working-class Americans from their ivory towers. Don’t forget that the group he belongs to hates the royal family and Equestria’s way of governing. He would see Twilight as more of a threat, but I’m sure he has a loathing for Applejack too if he is aware of what she did to him. Svengallop and his ilk were inspired by shady Hollywood agents and celebrities that openly despise America and its patriotism. They hate Equestria the same way.

If any writing requires them to make an appearance or have a major role, they will be used. I do like Coco Pommel. I’d love to use her in my stories.

AceBlazeWing from DA asks: Do you have plans to expand on the lore of other creature cultures the way you’ve done for the changelings and dragons? If so, which one would be the most interesting to explore?

We’ve already kinda gotten plenty of lore for most of them in the show like yaks, hippogriffs and griffons. We never got much for donkeys, goats and cattle, which is why I have those three represented in the Brotherhood of Grogar, and we might see some culture and lore explored for their races and Tambelon where they come from. It doesn’t mean I’ll completely ignore yaks, hippogriffs or griffons though. If the writing calls for it, I might delve into them and make my own lore to add on. I’ve already used griffons in “Age of the Alicorns” and I would like to show how their kingdom has been vastly improved since Twilight came into power. Spike’s entry in the “Journals of the Council of Friendship” talks a bit about it.

AceBlazeWing from DA asks: Is there any antagonist, however minor, that hasn’t reappeared from the show so far that you consider unlikely to ever change their ways?

Characters like the Pony of Shadows (who seems to be a separate entity from Stygian) and the Mean Six fit this category. I consider them to be like demons and are thus totally evil and impossible to reform. Minor villains that aren’t really a world-ending threat (Prince Blueblood, Gladmane, Lightning Dust, Wind Rider, etc) could come back to cause more trouble and if they ever grew old and felt bad about what they’d done, that just might not be explored and can be left up to the reader. You never know what I might do with them.

AceBlazeWing from DA asks: I don’t consider myself musically-talented enough to do so personally, but I am curious: has anyone done or offered to do a vocal cover of any of the instrumental pieces you make for your songs?

Funny you should ask, cuz a few months ago I announced that I would take some samples of people singing along to “We’re Going on an Adventure” and literally only one person sent an audition for Nighty. I am a little shy to reach out to some well-known singers in the fandom as I feel they don’t have time for little ol’ me, but I just want some people who are talented singers that sound right. I have several songs with finalized music, but no voices, and I’m not really up for singing in any of them myself. I feel like I could pull off doing Nightwatch rather well, but my singing is very rusty. Again, spread word of my series in order to show more interest in the fandom, and maybe someday some really talented individuals will come to my aid.

Everyone keeps asking about Sombra, and I’ve already gone into more detail about how I have a hard time figuring out what to do with him, but I don’t think I’ve talked about the Dazzlings yet. The answer is the same in being I am not sure how to fit them in, but they could work really well for a story one day. They can’t stay trapped in the EqG world forever, and I’d love to see if I can write them in one day, but we’ll see.

Don’t forget I’ve already revealed that Sweetie Belle will be playing a role in “Sound and Flurry”, but Applebloom has already appeared in a flashback in “Apple Family Memories”, though she will also come into the current events of the story in an upcoming episode. Those others could appear when the writing calls for it. Burnt Oak is Chip and Annie’s only surviving granddad, so I really need to use him too. I’ll find a way. Oh and Braeburn showed up with the buffalos in MBFPW.

Tirek is still hanging around in Equestria to redeem himself, so he will likely show up from time to time, but I need to figure out what to do with Scorpan, Vorak and Haydon. I definitely want to use all of them again.

I had to Google this, and I think I remember learning we got an adult Lilo at some point, but I had no idea her daughter looked just like her and wears the same outfit! If Flurry has a daughter much like her, we won’t see that in forever, so don’t get too attached to the idea right now, but it is a cute one.

In “Rubble Trouble”, we’ll see Nordo Dracos again. In MLSiaD we’ll eventually get to Soder Dracos and will see Ester Dracos again and even Tambelon much later on. If you’re talking about locations from the show: there’s plenty to work with. The “Pearls Before Swine” episode takes place in Canterlot and the Grand Galloping Gala will happen right at the end of Flurry’s summer, so we’ll be there too. In “Changing My Mind,” we’ll see Dicord’s realm and another very secret location that I will not speak of just yet. That’s just what I have planned for S2 and the rest of MLSiaD, but things are subject to change and we could see new world-building that even I am not prepared for!

Jayvron13 from DA asks: What qualities of Flurry Heart and her friends are your favorite?

I like when I can balance their flaws with their good points. Flurry is smart and outgoing, but can be persnickety and too sure of herself; Pound is wise and mature, but butts heads with Flurry a lot and can be bossy; Pumpkin is a sweetheart and silly, but she gets easily distracted like Pinkie Pie; Stormy is brave and loyal, but also arrogant and immature; Chip is smart and dependable, but a bit of a know-it-all; and Annie is a gentle soul, but also naïve and scares easily. They are enjoyable to write when they have good moments and bad moments as characters. I am looking forward to “Ghost of Grogar” cuz they are going to have some moments where they really can’t stand each other, but they find themselves in a crazy situation where they have to work together in order to fix it, and the end result is going to be astounding. This story is going to rock!

Dangit! Someone asked about AotA again! Sorry guys, I really need to get back to updating that. I think I’ve talked about this before, but I’m afraid to continue cuz my writing was not terrific back then and the next chapter is going to feel like it’s written by someone else since there’s such a gap in time for when I last wrote it. And here I was just getting to the really good part where the plot takes an unexpected turn and we finally get to see what happens with Accord. What I’ve thought of is going back and doing massive updates to the writing, but if anyone wants to see what the original was like just for archival purposes, it is still on Archive of Our Own (AO3) so I guess it could work. One thing’s for sure, I really should finish that story before I finish Season 2 of FHS, and there’s a good reason why, but I won’t say.

FanoDisney from DA asks: What’s your idea on how Flurry and co will finally meet Nightwatch because I was hoping for an episode that featured celebrating his and Buttercream’s shared birthday?

Well Spike and Butter’s birthdays are in early July and the wedding was some time before that. They are twins because their eggs were laid at the same time, but Spike hatched a few days prior. Spike and Butter are celebrating their birthday in “Ghost of Grogar” with their siblings while Flurry and the others are spending the night in the clubhouse. As for Nightwatch, we all know he and Butter share birthdays since he hatched her on his birthday, but Nighty won’t be around for that sadly. Again, he’s got some work to do but he’ll how up and the kids will meet him eventually.

“Rotten to the Core” focuses heavily on Chip and Annie, but you’ll see Tex. I don’t have anything in mind for an Apple Family Reunion just yet. Applebloom is coming up in a story too.

GAH! There’s another thing I really need to get back to updating! Sorry I kinda lost the motivation for JotCoF, but I really need to finish that as well. I just have AJ, Rarity and Fluttershy left. Writing all the stories has distracted me so much, it’s easy to forget I have that waiting around too.

KaptainJay from DA asks: Will we see what happened to more minor villains (Gladmane, Prince Blueblood, Wind Rider, etc.) in later stories?

I already talked about Wind Rider earlier, so we need not repeat that; I have thought about doing something with Gladmane, but nothing is in stone yet; but as for Prince Blueblood: remember when I had that one story like 10+ years ago called “Pride vs Prejudice?” No? Yeah, I’ve been putting that story off way longer than Age of the Alicorns, which is too bad cuz it could’ve been such a good story. I think I literally only wrote the prologue chapter and then the rest is history. It was about how Celestia and the Mane Six set it up so Blueblood and Rarity could get along and bury the hatchet. Things don’t go as planned at first, but they do eventually become friends and apologies are made. That was supposed to take place probably some time during Season 2 or before it. I could recycle that story idea, or I could just reference it in an FHS episode one day. I feel like Blueblood had some good potential to have an episode where he grows up. I was going to show how in that story, he slowly starts to mature as he gets to know the Mane Six and spend time in Ponyville, but Rarity is in disbelief that it’s happening so she just makes it worse by refusing to admit he could be changing. Although this story has been on the backburner longer than any of my other MLP stories, I still think the idea was a good one.

I don’t have any major plans for them in S2, but maybe eventually.

I consider the upcoming S2 finale to have a bit of a movie-length thing going on. Perhaps MBFPW had that same feeling due to how long it went on too. Each episode of MLSiaD kind of has that same feeling, but the one big problem studios have with making tie-in films or multi-media in general is that not everyone is going to keep up with those, so it’s good to know this is all just me writing and putting it on the internet. I hope enough people who are reading FHS are also reading MLSiaD and vice versa, but that’s why characters from either story are appearing in the other one like we’ve seen with Buttercream and her friends. It should get people interested enough to give the other one a try and see how they connect.

No and I don’t consider that latter thing to be canon. I still am sticking with my headcanon that Discord started off as a pony and there are no other creatures like him with the exception of my OC Eris. Discord is supposed to be completely unique, but Eris technically doesn’t exist or rather she shouldn’t. You’ll see what this all means eventually.

Holy crap, yes! You have no idea how many scenes I’ve wanted to draw but don’t have time to!

I get a little nervous of the prospect of this at times. I am critical of my own work and am good about taking criticisms, but what I can’t stand are when people come in like “Wow, this really doesn’t work! Your writing is terrible! You should stick to art!” and it just becomes nothing but petty insults. That’s when it becomes evident the critic has little to no reading experience and is probably just a hater or jealous or something. My writing is not perfect by any means, but I always believe a good critic should either balance it out by saying what is good and bad. And if they only have criticisms to give, they need to be understanding and not flat-out tell the author to stop writing. They need to make it clear that they are there to help. This is why I’ve been shy to send my stories in to EqD to post on their site. I am not sure it would get past the “pre-readers” and I just know the comments will be terrible cuz EqD is notorious for having really bad comments. I will probably just ignore those and look in the comments on FIMfic instead.

Well I’d be lying if I said no. I have been excited for the possibility that this series could get huge in the fandom like FoE, Friendship is Witchcraft, .MOV, Rainbow Dash Presents, etc. I’ve kind of been waiting for it to get popular more organically rather than get desperate and force it into something like EqD, but if it got more fans and people made more fanart for it, that could help spread the word. It could lead to pressure also, I admit. I have already had some people breathing down my neck about when the next episode is or if I’m going to finish his or that. It gets pretty annoying when people ask me if the series will continue even though I’ve written post after post about the future of the series, obviously proving it will continue. What I’m really looking forward to is people telling me how my stories make them happy or this character inspires them to be a better person. Lauren Faust has had people come to her at conventions and thank her for making MLPFIM because it saved them from suicide. I’d love to have that same feeling one day. Whatever I do, I don’t want to do it for my own image. I hope I can build off of all this with my own original content one day, but I will do it for the love of the material and not to further my reputation.

I interviewed yesterday and was hired right away! I'm going to be doing some packing, sorting and delivering for a local newspaper company that an old friend of mine from school owns. Only definite work days will be Thursdays and possibly earlier in the week. I won't get a whole lot of hours out of it so I'm still looking for another part time job or perhaps a full one if the benefits and rates are good. My current commission list has 10 slots full, but I'm going to still let my page say I'm opened in case anyone else wants to get a slot later. Those commissions obviously have yet to be started, but thank you to everyone who sent a message and I'll get the WIP sketches done for you soon.

I should've been forthcoming about this much sooner, but honestly I didn't know what to say as I figured things would've turned up by now. Well they haven't and I might as well tell you guys the truth.

As the title admits, yes, I do not have a job and it's been that way for the past 6 weeks. Before we talk about that, let's go back to November of last year. Some of you might have seen when I made this status update: https://www.deviantart.com/aleximusprime/status-update/Sorry-if-I-scared-you-995107195 Well that got me to leave my job for one month because I was able to go back on December 19th when that asshole left for shoulder surgery. I returned to work and things were fine for the next 2 months, but then it got worse when he returned in late February.

To understand this situation, I have to explain the manager. He has been a lifelong friend of my dad's and our family has good relations with his family, but his biggest weakness is he's too nice. He runs a decent business, but he's terrible when it comes to human resources. They don't even have an HR department there and he doesn't deal well at all with bullying. Back in 2018-2020, you might remember I had to deal with this other subhuman who was treating me like shit, and he wouldn't fire him; he just made up excuses as to why he needs to keep him. The bullying got so bad I started having...well, we'll call them dark thoughts.

Well thankfully that guy left due to some personal issues, but right after he left they hired this other guy who was apparently an old friend of my dad's that was beyond retirement age, and he turned out to be an absolute garbage human as well. This guy screams at you over tiny things and calls you immature names like "cocksucker" which is straight-up sexual harassment. let me repeat: this guy is an ELDER. He's fucking 69 years old and he talks like this. My dad even tried to tell him to cut it out and he won't talk to my dad anymore. My dad has heard through some of his other friends that this guy has a history of abuse and comes from a family of abusive people which doesn't surprise me one bit. I of course just tried to ignore him and not even respond when he'd talk to me. Even though he was ordered to not talk to me, he had to point out how I was doing one little thing out of place one day and that's where it started. I told him to knock it off and all I got was a "fuck you" in response. I couldn't take it any longer. I called my boss up while in the car and tearfully told him that this cannot go on. You'd think that would have been enough for my boss to be convinced to fire the bastard, but again, we're not dealing with a professional manager that knows how to look someone in the eyes and give them a pink slip. What this guy was doing could get my boss in trouble with the law, and I'm too chicken to sue the former because then my boss might get sued too and it's going to cause all sorts of drama between our families. I was considering getting a protection order, and I still could, but it won't get me my job back. Even telling my manager I was considering it wasn't enough to convince him that maybe it's a good idea to just fire this guy. He had been warned by several other employees that his attitude qualifies as harassment and they could get themselves in legal trouble. To this day, I still don't know how my boss wasn't convinced of any of this. It blows my mind.

Well on the morning of February 26th, I came in to work and saw the bully's truck there in the parking lot. I walked in to see he was dressed in a work-coat and all, ready to do the job again. I walked out and drove home before I even had the chance to sign in. I called my boss up and told him it's over and I'm not coming back until he has the balls to fire him, but yeah, you can already predict how the conversation went at this point.

Since then, I haven't been hired anywhere, but I've been doing the best I can to make ends meet. My boss was at least kind enough to give me some final paychecks for all my remaining vacation and sick days for this year which covered 2 weeks of work. I have also been able to sell a few things on Mercari and my tax refund will help give me a boost, but my money is going to run out if I don't have a job soon and it would be great to actually catch up to where I should be financially if I were still working. I've applied to several places in town and only one of them has had me interview. I spoke to the manager of that place this afternoon and she told me they are still making decisions on the hiring. If I don't hear back from her in another week, I'm going to assume I didn't make the cut.

Now you'd think I'd have opened up a new list for commissions by now, but the truth is, I have been scared to because I might do it and then get a call saying I'm hired somewhere and it'll be stressful to tackle a new job and the commissions I'd owe people at the same time. I honestly thought I'd get hired at one of these places a little sooner. Had I known it would take this long, I would have opened weeks ago, but I'm getting so desperate, I might just have to do it anyway, so here's the deal: if you are interested in a commission, you are okay to send a note to me if you please. I will update my status to "OPEN" on my page. I only have 2 more left to do in my current list and I have already started a new queue list, so I might as well finish it. I need a change of pace and I could really use a job with higher pay and benefits, but even a part-time job or two would do right now. Things will turn up, but pray that they do soon. Before we get started, just letting you all know, I have chapter 6 of Ester Dracos in progress, but there's a song in it which I'm composing, and as per the usual, it is taking a while to finish. After some difficulty, I have managed to come up with a tune now. It sounds good, I'm just getting to a more challenging section and it might complicate things. I actually have the first chapter of "Ghost of Grogar" complete (proofreading still needed), but I will wait on that one before it is uploaded. There are no songs in that story, so I should be able to get through it quicker, but I do want to at least get the cover art done as well as a picture of the "Harmony Clubhouse" tree, so please be patient. Trust me, it will be worth the wait.

***Spoilers ahead for those that have yet to read My Little Sister is a Dragon: Ester Dracos Arc***

In the most recent chapter of Ester Dracos, we learn that Nordo Dracos, the land Buttercream might have come from is governed by King Rubble, a dragon that hates ponies. After seeing a portrait of the royal family of Nordo Dracos, Nightwatch suspects that Buttercream could be closely related to them and he instantly fears losing Buttercream if they find out where she is. This causes him to make a rather foolish decision: to keep everything he has learned secret and to not tell Buttercream anything about Nordo Dracos. He even takes a book about dragons home with him from the Ester Dracos archives to do his own research, but he will be keeping that secret from her as well.

Now I won't give it all away, but this is not the only secret Nightwatch will keep from Buttercream or the only secret he'll keep from anyone. In order for the continuity to line up properly, I have to write all of this so that he and Butter never come into any real contact with the Mane Six throughout the events of the show until we get into the FHS timeline. Now you know that the reason these two groups haven't met yet is because of Nightwatch's fear of losing his sister and how it causes him to not want others to know of her. Nightwatch is also a bit shy about putting himself out there which will result in other secrets being kept. Some really big secrets.

Obviously Butter will eventually find out. In FHS we see that she is fully aware of these things and that's how she got to Nordo Dracos to find her family. She has known for years now. When that will happen in MLSiaD is yet to be seen, but Nightwatch's biggest flaw has already been revealed and it will not make things easier for him. In the coming episodic stories for MLSiaD, he will be challenged to keep this secret by resorting to rather shady methods, and he will eventually find out about Spike and the Mane Six. It will lead to some friction between him and Buttercream, but they obviously make up. In FHS, Nighty currently hasn't appeared, but he may soon. I won't say which episode it will be though.

Now another question you might have his: how, if I am building up Nightwatch and Twilight to be a couple, has he not yet met her in person? We saw in "Go North, Young Dragon" how Twilight clearly remembers having some back-and-forth with him via mail, and we know she will eventually mail his journal and telescope knob back to him (as it is set up at the end of the Nightmare Moon Arc), but why haven't they met yet? Why isn't Nighty brave enough to go out and introduce himself? Well let's just say he's kinda shy when it comes to girls he likes, but there's another big reason he's been avoiding Twilight. A reason that even Buttercream understands. I'm not going to touch on that, but it'll make more sense when I get to that story later on.

When I first thought of Nightwatch, not a lot of this came to my mind, but the fact that he was a character I could see being with Twilight meant I'd have to have an explanation as to why he never would have shown up in the show. Obviously it's because he's an OC and Hasbro would not have had him in there, but I am challenged with explaining why that is. The gap in time between Ending of the End and Last Problem is open to massive interpretation and things will be explained in MLSiaD over time. Nightshade is not a perfect pony and he makes mistakes. You already see him making a big one. He loves Buttercream more than life itself and will do anything to protect her, but he is still thinking a bit too much about what he wants without considering what she may want. He'll grow over time and learn his lessons, but not without going through some rough stuff. By crossing the Brotherhood of Grogar, Bray will be giving Nightwatch some serious trials.
