TFA Bludgeon Reference

Description

I finally got to Bludgeon! I pretty much used the toy as reference, but I made a few things different like the legs, arms, and I made the chestplate be shaped like a monster's face like the gunmen in Gurren Lagann. It's also quite clear I went a slightly different direction with his design than most deviants seem to have. He looks a bit stronger rather than thin and skeletal looking. Underneath he isn't quite this bulky if he removes his armor. I know that Derrick Wyatt planned to make Bludgeon a pirate-like robot, but I honestly have no interest in that. Bludgeon always was and always should be a dark samurai warrior. Making him a pirate is like making a Optimus Prime a Decepticon, or Megatron an Autobot! Maybe SG Bludgeon could be a pirate, but not this guy...

Bio:
Bludgeon was once a friend and partner of Yoketron's that not many bots still know of. He and Yoketron were trained together in nearly every servo-to-servo form of combat and weaponry there is. At the peak of their training, Yoketron was awarded guardianship of the protoforms and was the Master of the Cyber Ninja Training Corps. Infuriated by this, Bludgeon left his master and didn't even complete his training. He spent a few stellar cycles learning various arts from many other masters across the galaxy and returned one day to Yoketron to become his right hand bot. Unfortunately, Yoketron refused to let Bludgeon work with him for he could see that Bludgeon was greedy and only desired power for himself. Despite Bludgeon's pleas of at least teaching him the processor-over-matter technique, Yoketron shunned Bludgeon and Bludgeon lost all hope. Several stellar cycles passed until Bludgeon finally came into contact with an ancient essence known as Dark Energon. Although believed to be rather unstable and dangerous, Bludgeon absorbed this power and became nearly ten times stronger as a result. He donned himself in samurai armor, scanned a Cybertronian tank, and fashioned his own sword breathed in the fires of Dark Energon. Using his knowledge and years of experience, he quickly swore loyalty to Megatron and formed his own clan of samurai bots. Lockdown, a former student of Yoketron, became his highest ranking student and an undercover bounty hunter. The secret Bludgeon kept from Megatron was that he was planning to one day overthrow Megatron and rule the entire Decepticon army by force for he was the only other bot with the power to defeat the feared Decepticon leader. The one thing he still needed was to learn the P over M technique, but he knew Yoketron was of no use to him anymore. He had Lockdown and his team attack the Yoketron's dojo and kill him and steal all the protoforms. Megatron was pleased with their success and had gained Bludgeon's trust, little did he know that Bludgeon was planning a rebellion. He ordered Lockdown to work as a bounty hunter for Megatron and gather as much weapons as he desired for later use. And if Lockdown ever came across the last student of Yoketron's, he was to be brought to Bludgeon online so that he could pass on his knowledge to the samurai overlord. Years passed and Lockdown could not find the last student. After his last battle with Prowl, Lockdown realized Prowl was the last student who had learned P over M, but Prowl sacrificed his life later to save Detroit. Lockdown knew, however, that Jazz had also learned the technique so he captured Jazz and sent him to Bludgeon who had just arrived to Earth to stay and start building an empire there. Bludgeon tried to talk Jazz into teaching him the technique, but Jazz refused, so Bludgeon ordered Jazz to be put into stasis and programed to transmit his programming he had accomplished through training with Prowl. It didn't take long at all and now Bludgeon knows the technique. He is still trying to master it to the best of his ability to overthrow Megatron. Soon he will start an uprising and cease control of the Decepticons. But first, he has plans for his new student Jazz...

Personality:
Long ago, Bludgeon believed in a peaceful Cybertron, but years of training somehow made him prideful and lusting for more and more power. Being turned down for working with the Ninja Corps made it worse, and he became evil and decided that the Decepticon way is better, for they encourage more power to be harvested and that was just what Bludgeon needed. He is now purely evil and bent on total domination of the Decepticons, but he does a much better job of keeping his secret than Starscream does. He hates the Autobots and sees them as fools for not welcoming more militant methods. Oddly enough for a Decepticon, he actually admires some of the humans on Earth, especially the dictators of various countries. He enjoys the fact that some humans believe in a military-obsessed regime and undisputed leadership without any concern of what the citizens think. He believes that all citizens should be trained as soldiers, not normal civilians. His plans for the Decepticons are much like Megatron's, but involving more strategy in taking over the galaxy. Less destruction, and more strategy. That is why he is willing to let some of the humans live. If they or anyone do not accept his proposal to let him lead, they will all be terminated.

Weapons/Abilities:
Bludgeon is now just as powerful, if not more powerful, than Megatron is. He gets his power from the Dark Energon he absorbed years ago, but Megatron does not know of this. This power simply makes him ten times stronger than he used to be, gives him thicker armor, and allows him to engulf his body and weapons in fire much like the Fallen can do. His sword is completely indestructible and he wields it with uncanny accuracy. He also possesses a smaller dagger that is also indestructible for it too is breathed in Dark Energon. He transforms into a Japanese tank which is capable of firing a limited amount of Dark Energon blasts. He can use the canons or machine guns on his backpack in robot mode, but prefers to fight with his sword and use those other weapons in his tank mode. He does however hide the fact that his main canon is just as powerful as Megatron's fusion canon. He is also a master of all forms of servo-to-servo combat known throughout Cybertron although he lacks agility in his armored form. He can take off the armor though if he needs to. He now knows the processor over matter technique and is getting better with it so he can overthrow Megatron. His mask resembles a human skull and can open by the jaws revealing his true face. He also carries a flag he sometimes puts in his canon backpack that has a modified Decepticon symbol on it. He tells Megatron this is made only for his training clan, but he plans to make it the official Decepticon insignia later on in his takeover.

There you have it! If you haven't noticed, I put some of the plot I have planned for my YouTube series, Transformers Legacy, (which has an uncertain future...) into Bludgeon's bio. If I ever do get further into that series, God willing, I will put this into it and Bludgeon will have a very important role in it.

Also, I have plans to make a younger Autobot version of him and later on an armorless version, perhaps even a Cybertronian mode that comes right before this appearance.
