TFA Axle and Magnia Chapter 25

25:  LOST AND FOUND PART I


Axle, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Prowl, and Sari were out in front of the plant playing an Earth game called hockey.  It's where you have two nets on each end and have to hit a small object called a puck into the net and score a point.  They used a little rock instead of a puck and the Autobots didn't have real hockey sticks so they were using their own makeshift sticks they made.  Axle's stick was a long wooden plank with a parking sign tied to one end.  Sari had just gotten done arguing with Ratchet whom she just hit with the puck by accident.  Once she put the rock back into play, Bumblebee gained on her and made his way to the goal that Bulkhead was defending.

"He's breaking away……the crowd goes wild……" shouted Bumblebee as he was skating towards the goal and talking like a sports announcer.  "HE SHOOTS!!!"

The rock flew past Bulkhead and was about to go into the goal, but a small garbage bot from nearby leaped right in front of it and blocked the rock with its servo.

"Holy energon, that's a lot coming from a little garbage bot!" exclaimed Axle who was on Sari and Bulkhead's team.

"Oooh, bad luck!" Sari teased.

"Was it really?" Ratchet said pointing at the garbage bot that was lying on the ground.  Apparently Sari put her key in the bot without anyone looking and somehow managed to make it defend her goal.

"Sari, that's cheating!" Axle told her.

"Woops, how did that get there?" Sari said walking over to take the key out.

"Sari, how many times do I have to tell you?  That key is not a toy!" barked Ratchet.  Just then the key started to glow a bluish light.  "I SAID KNOCK IT OFF!"

"But I'm not doing that!" Sari replied.  

No one knew why the key was glowing.  It shone a beam of light upwards, but then the beam started angling itself.  The bots and Sari were so distracted by the beam that they did not hear or see the two meteors in the sky above.  Once they noticed it, they also noticed that the beam of light coming from the key was pointing directly at the meteors and tracking them.  The power of the Allspark in the key must have been warning them of an imminent danger.  The meteors landed straight in the center of Detroit and crashed with a boom.

"This is not good……" Ratchet said deeply.

"Autobots, what's going on, what were those meteors?!"  Optimus said worried.

"It's Blitzwing and Lugnut!" said Axle.

"It's who?" Prowl asked.

"Blitzwing and Lugnut.  They're the two big Decepticons I met back on the moon and narrowly escaped from when I came here!"

"How do you know for sure it's them?" asked Bumblebee.

"The key must have the ability to track down Cybertronian energy signatures." Ratchet told them.  "I think Axle's right, those were transformers, and they were probably Decepticons!"

"Well, I think that first we should check the television.  The local news reporters will get footage.  If it's just a normal accident, the authorities may be angry if we intervene." Prime said.  They all went inside and turned the TV on to see that Axle was right.

"THAT'S THEM!!" Axle said as the two Decepticons emerged from the craters they made.  "That's the triple changer right there!" he said pointing to the one who just walked out towards a construction vehicle.

"Wow, he does have a pretty creepy face!" said Bumblebee, "Just like a carved pumpkin from Halloween!"

"Yeah, I told you guys he was real!"

Lugnut then could be heard speaking to the construction vehicle thinking it was a transformer.  "What have you done with our beloved leader Megatron?!  TALK!!!" he yelled as he tried knocking over the vehicle, but didn't notice it had a wrecking ball on its crane and it swung by and hit Blitzwing over by accident.

"Did you hear?  Those Decepticons are looking for us!" said Prowl.

"I wonder why they didn't just follow me right after I escaped.  Do you think they were following someone else?" Axle asked.  He wondered if perhaps some bot he knew might have followed him to the moon, but he wasn't sure who.

"Who cares, let's go kick their motherboards!" said Sari eagerly but Ratchet blocked her.

"You stay here." he told Sari.

"But I wanna-"

"We've barely held our own against one Decepticon; we're not risking your life against two!"

"Yeah, Ratchet's right, it's too dangerous." said Prime. "We need to lure them away from innocence."

"But……aren't we innocent?" Bumblebee stated.

"Autobots transform and roll out!" Prime commanded as the others followed him.

"Don't worry Sari; we'll be back real quick!" Axle told her after coming out last.  He flew above the interstate far away from the ground to check and see if he could get a bird's eye view of the crash site.

"Prime, it looks like there are more explosions happening.  We'd better hurry before they flatten all of Detroit!" Axle warned.


Meanwhile, Magnia was racing through the streets at high speeds and trying to follow the helicopter that resembled Axle.  She had a hard time seeing him even with her side optical sensors, but she already knew he was heading for the crash site.

"It sure will be hard to get there!  I'd better try taking a short cut." She said driving through and alleyway trying to not scratch herself against the walls.  She then got out into another street and crossed it while some organics were jumping to the side so she wouldn't hit them.  Some cars also screeched to a halt for they didn't know she was coming out.  "Sorry, little creatures, my bad!" she apologized.  She then finally got to an alleyway that she could see the explosions on the other side of.  It appeared there was construction going on here.  There was unfinished architecture on all sides; she would have to make her way around them.  She then stopped quickly and saw the Autobots all transform on top of a nearby interstate.  After they transformed, Axle dropped down from the sky to join them.

"IT IS AXLE!!!" she shouted joyfully!  But all the Autobots jumped down and then a bunch of explosions could be heard and seen behind the unfinished building.  "Oh great, those really were the Decepticons!  Hang in there Axle, I'll help you out!" she said driving along through an alley between two of the buildings and trying to get out into the opening where her love awaited.


Axle transformed and landed behind his friends.

"Heard you were looking for us!" Prime called to the Decepticons below.  

"But let's skip the doom part." Bumblebee said.

Lugnut then picked up and threw a large tanker truck at them and Prime cut it in half with his axe right before it exploded.  Axle took to the skies activating his propellers and went to distract Blitzwing who was shooting laser pellets at Bumblebee and Prowl.

"Hey, I remember zhou!  Zhou're zat Autobot who ezcaped our zhip back on ze moon!" Blitzwing called to Axle with his angry face.

"Ah, so you do remember me!" Axle replied.

"Yeah, now how avout a game of TAG, ZHOU'RE EET!  AHAHAHAHA!" Blitzwing said switching to his crazy face and shooting both fire and ice at Axle from two different turrets.  

Axle flew upwards and landed on the other side of Blitzwing.  He looked back to see Lugnut putting both fists in the air and then bending over on all fours on the ground.  Small compartments on his back opened up and shot out an array of ballistics in all directions.  Ratchet quickly used his magnetic powers on all of the missiles before they got too far apart and pushed them back upwards.

"CAN'T HOLD THEM ALL!!!" Ratchet called.

"Then I'll just have to shove him off!" said Bulkhead running to fight Lugnut.

But Ratchet lost control of the force-field he put around the missiles and they all suddenly locked on to Axle.

"Oh slag!!" Axle thought to himself as he saw all the missiles coming at him.  Even if he flew away, there were too many for him to still escape.  He would either get hit by too many and probably be destroyed, or get hit by a few and receive bad damage.  Suddenly he heard something he didn't think he'd hear.

"AXLE!!!!!" said a female voice from behind.  Axle didn't know any females on this planet except Sari, but Sari was at the plant, and this didn't sound like Sari.  He could have sworn he heard it before, but he wasn't too sure, it was hard to tell from the fighting sounds.  He turned around to see a little white and red Earth sports car racing towards him at high speeds.

"It……it can't be!!" Axle said quietly to himself.

The car then transformed into the one femme he had always thought of every day since he met her……the one femme that he had always loved…… MAGNIA!!!  It was Magnia!!!  She appeared to have changed much since the time he last saw her.  Obviously she scanned an Earth vehicle, so her robot mode was a bit different now too.  She looked even more beautiful than Axle had ever seen.  She landed on the ground after doing a jumping transformation and quickly got out her magnet batons.  Axle was so entranced by this sight that he forgot about the missiles.  He looked right at them and ducked, but suddenly they started flying towards Magnia because she used her magnets to attract them to her.  When they were close enough, she swung her batons backwards and then turned them off and the missiles exploded behind her.  She then looked up at Axle and gave him a smile.

"Ma……Magnia?  Is it really you?" Axle said astonished.

"You didn't actually think I was gonna let you go on your own and include me out of the fun, did you?" she replied.

"How……how did you get here?"

"Probably the same way you did.  You probably should have let me come with you in the first place!"

"But……what about your job?"

"OOOOOH, VELL VHAT DO VE HAVE HERE?!?" screamed Blitzwing out of nowhere. "IT'S A GIRL!!  AHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

"Yeah, that's right, I'm a girl!" Magnia said to the giant triple changer.  She ran towards him while Blitzwing shot laser pellets out at her, but she jumped down with her back facing the ground and turned on the wheels on her back and the wheels on her legs to roll around in robot mode.  Blitzwing couldn't angle his turrets any lower, so she had the upper hand.  She rolled right between his legs and then turned on her batons and magnetized Blitzwing to her causing him to fall back.  She slid right out from underneath him before he landed and turned off her batons as he fell with a great crash.

"Wow……" Axle said amazed at the defeat Blitzwing just had by a femme.

"And this girl just beat you!!" Magnia teased Blitzwing.  Suddenly Lugnut came up behind her.

"So then, you are the Autobot that took our last escape pod and came to Earth!  You shall pay for your insolence, woman!" he said putting his fist in the air.  He swung downward into the ground, but she did a backflip and dodged the attack.  Dust flew everywhere imparing Lugnut's vision so she ran away from him and towards Bulkhead who appeared to be lying on his back and trying to get up.

"Help, someone help, I can't get up!" Bulkhead cried.  Then suddenly he started moving forward automatically until he was standing again.  It was as if he was being brought forward with Ratchet's magnets, but it wasn't Ratchet doing this.  He looked in front of him to see a familiar face.  "Magnia?"

"Hey Bulkhead, long time no see!" she greeted.

"Why are you here?"

"Eh, things got boring back on Cybertron, I think I'm liking it here already."

Bulkhead then looked at Axle who came over to them. "Yeah, we're happy to see ya.  I'm sure Axle is reeeeally happy to see ya!" Bulkhead teased.

"Um……what Bulkhead means to say is that……we really could use some help right now and……you sure came at the nick of time!" Axle said blushing.

"The what of time?" Magnia asked still not understanding Earth culture.

"Er, Earth lingo.  Sorry, my bad."

"Bumblebee, look out!"  Bulkhead said looking over at the others.  Bumblebee was sliding on some ice that Blitzwing created and Lugnut was about to step on him until Prime grappled Bumblebee away to safety.

"Where is our glorious leader?!?  WHERE IS MEGATRON!!!" Lugnut demanded.

"Big scary dude?  Didn't he turn into a fireball somewhere over Cleveland?" Bumblebee asked Optimus.

"OH……OH……IT'S A LIE!!!  MEGATRON LIVES!!!!!" Lugnut shouted.  His right arm then transformed into a rocket and a little red button was on the end of his fist.  His elbow shifted to form a propulsion engine and his fist hit the ground.

"MAGNIA, WE GOTTA MAKE LIKE A TREE AND LEAVE!!!!!" Axle shouted picking her up.

"Make like what?" she asked, but they were both too busy escaping the explosion from Lugnut's bomb fist.  Axle flew away just far enough to escape the explosion.  Magnia was admiring him as he was holding her.  "My hero…" she thought to herself.  "I knew he wouldn't give up on me!"

"Are you ok, Magnia?" Axle asked turning his head to her.

"Oh, uh……yes, yes, I'm alright."

They both landed on a nearby building that wasn't hurt by the explosion.

"Wow, I don't think I've seen you fight like that before!" Axle complemented.

"Thanks!  I think it's my alt mode.  I'm a lot lighter now!"

"So am I, and I have a second spinner now!" he said pointing to his back.

"Yeah, the vehicles on this planet sure are strange, but rather interesting."

"Oh you're gonna love it here, Magnia.  The humans are really interesting creatures!"

"Humans?"

"The little bipeds that populate this planet.  The only ones that talk.  They're really interesting and like us, there's more to them than meets the eye!"

"Eye?"

"Er……sorry, I keep using Earth terms.  But don't worry, Ratchet has a little drive he can give you that tells you all the information you need to know about Earth."

"Is he one of the Autobots down there that I haven't met yet?"

"Yeah, he and Prowl and Optimus Pri…… OH SHOOT!  I forgot about them down there!!" he said turning to where they came from.  Just then, Lugnut rocketed skyward holding Blitzwing close to him.

"I wonder why those cowards are retreating?" asked Magnia.

"I dunno, but we'd better go down and help the others and introduce you to them." he said picking Magnia up again and flying her down to the ground.  The others were on the ground trying to get up.  Axle let Magnia down and she went over to help Bumblebee up.

"Gosh, that felt like……huh?  Magnia?" Bumblebee said looking up at her.

"Hey Bee, you ok?" she asked him.

"Not really, but…how did you get here?"

"Took a cruiser and crashed onto the moon.  I ran into those two, but I escaped just in time to take an escape pod to this planet."

"Wow, you really did do it the same way I did, Magnia!" Axle commented.

"Well, great processors think alike!" she said winking at him as he blushed a little.

"Axle, is this a friend of yours?" Prime said while getting up.

"Uh……yeah.  She's an old friend I met back at Autoboot camp along with Bumblebee and Bulkhead.  Her name's Magnia." Axle said introducing her.

"Hello everyone." Magnia said cheerfully to the three new bots.

"Magnia, this is Ratchet, our doctor."

"Hello there, young lady." Ratchet said shaking her servo.  "Axle's told us a lot about you."

"Has he now?" she said looking at Axle as he got a little anxious.

"Uh……and this is Prowl, he's a ninja-bot that joined them recently."

"It's nice to finally get to see you, Magnia."  Prowl said shaking her hand.  

"Those were rather impressive fighting skills you used out there."

"Thanks." She said warmly. "You're not too bad yourself."

"And my name is Optimus Prime.  It's a pleasure to meet you, Magnia." Prime said politely lending her his servo.

"Oh, so you're Optimus Prime.  Wow, Axle has told me a lot about you, how you would have made a really good Magnus and all."

Prime blushed.  It was the first time in centuries he had been complimented by an Autobot female.  "Well, I've been told that many times.  It's too bad I was kicked out of the Elite Guard.  But anyways, I think we should all transform and roll on home, I've got quite a few scratches I may need mended a little from battle."
The rest of the bots then transformed and drove back to the plant.

"Where are we heading Axle?" Magnia asked Axle.

"To our base of operations.  It's some old plant that the humans used to use, but Sari's dad let us have it."

"Who's that?"

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you about Sari.  She's this adorable little organic female that helps us out.  You gotta meet her, she's really sweet!"

"Really?  So I guess I'm not the only girl around here then after all!"

"Nope, not really." Axle said.  He still had a bunch of thoughts going through his processor about Magnia.  Did she really come after him because she returned her feelings for him?  She seemed to have returned her feelings!  Axle was so happy that she came for him and really seemed to miss him a lot, but at the same time, he felt somewhat scared and unprepared for this.  He didn't expect for Magnia to come back so quickly for him, so he didn't really know how to take it and he hadn't really been getting such good practice on how to talk to a woman you love here on Earth.  Hopefully for now he could just take it one step at a time and see if she'd play along.  She was depending on him; she must have been waiting for him to admit his feelings for her.  This was definitely good.  For the first time in Axle's life, he could finally say to himself, "I think she likes me!"
