Spike is definitely the cutest in the show! 
But how is he a baby when he can walk and talk the way he does?! 
He must grow pretty fast! He's funny though, probably not as funny as Pinkie is, but funny! 
He makes a good attendant for Twilight Sparkle indeed! 
I guess I take back saying that he gets kinda under-appreciated in the show. I finished watching the episodes and he's in quite a few of them actually!
The pic looks good, Spike wasn't that hard to draw... Couldn't think of any better poses though, I just used the smile-and-wave technique...
