Patricia 'Peachy' Eleanor Pie

She needs more love people!!!

For those of you who don't know, I didn't make up Peachy Pie. She's a background pony that can be seen in Episode 18 of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" alongside Sunny Days. She has no character development and never even gets to talk, she just makes a surprised gasp. So I gave her a personality of her own, gave her a longer real name from where she gets "Peachy" from, and made her the sister of Pinkie Pie since they have the same last/second name. Why the heck not?!

And in case you're wondering how that could ever fit in with Pinkie's flashback from "Cutie Mark Chronicles"....well let's just say she was born AFTER the time Pinkie got her cutie mark and brought happiness to the Pie family.

Here's a little background info I made up for Peachy:

Patricia Eleanor Pie (aka Peachy Pie) was born of the Pie family some time after Pinkie got her cutie mark. She never realized what a peach even was until she asked about her name and why she was called "Peachy Pie" one day. Pinkie showed her a peach and let her eat it and Peachy fell in love with it's flavor immediately, but she nearly choked on the pit that Pinkie forgot to warn her about. She then decided that she would love to do something with food when she grew up and after making her first peach pie, she got her cutie mark: three peaches.

She's an energetic young filly with hopes of becoming a culinary artist. She dreams of helping out Pinkie at Sugarcube Corner or opening up her own bakery someday. She's pretty smart for her age and sometimes even more mature than Pinkie. Sometimes she has to keep Pinkie from getting in over her head. She can be a bit mischievous and sarcastic at times and likes playing pranks, but she knows her right from wrong. Her favorite food is peaches, and her favorite dessert is fruit pies. Her best friend is Sunny Days and her hobbies include rollerskating, cooking, jump-roping, and socializing with her friends.

What do you guys think of the bio I've made for her? Do you think she makes a good sister for Pinkie? I made it as believable and close-to-canon as possible, it just gets me that the pre-readers from Equestria Daily can't see through that. -_____- (I used her in my "Switchy Pie" fanfic)


This is the first time I've traced any MLP official art, and no harm in that really, I just wanted to get a more professional pic up of her so that people can see what she looks like. It's not spot-on accurate, her tail should be a bit bigger, but it's close enough. I downloaded official artwork of Rainbow Dash as a filly and traced it and then just drew the mane and tail by looking at a screenshot for reference. I did it in Paint and Paint.net. I would have used a more advanced program that actually has the pen tool like Gimp, but I tried it and then all of a sudden the path I spent nearly an hour making disappeared so I said to hay with it and I used Paint. Traced and colored in Paint. Iris gradient, Gaussian blur, and transparent background rendered in Paint.net. There you go.

Now, I've allowed the download button this time so you guys can use this to trace it yourself if you'd like to make a much better vectorized version. I'd like to see more fanart of this adorable filly go up, so feel free to trace my art and make it better! TRACE AWAY FOLKS!!!
