Optimus Magnus Reference

HOLY COW THIS TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL!!!

This is my version of Optimus Magnus [link] if TFA had continued into a fourth season.

His bio is simple: he was the successor of Sentinel who was the successor of Ultra Magnus. Sentinel made amends with Optimus after he returned with a captured Megatron and Ultra Magnus handed Sentinel the Matrix of Leadership on his deathbed. A while later after Megatron was broken out of the stockades, he engaged Sentinel Magnus and Optimus Prime, but Sentinel was eventually killed and the left side of Optimus's entire face was practically cut off from Megatron's swords. Optimus came to his rescue but it was too late, so Sentinel handed him the Matrix of Leadership and Optimus was upgraded into Optimus Magnus and became the new leader of the Autobots. The power of the Matrix also healed his face, but left a small scar under his left optic, so he wears his faceplate nearly at all times.

As you can see I made him very reminiscent of G1 Optimus but kept some Animated elements as well. And I for one am totally pleased with how well I pulled the Animated look off! I had to use a pic of Prime\'s standing pose for the show for reference to get it right, but that\'s ok cuz when you use a pic as reference, your finished product ends up much better than if you just winged it! I really wanna shoot for making my art this good from now on or at least with pics like this one, I have so much fun making these kinds of pics! So let me know what you guys think and enjoy!
