My Little OCs

Guess who's jumped on the MLP bandwagon? MEEEEEEEEE! Yeah, I'm a guy, and I love this show, whatcha gonna do 'bout it, huh?!

So yeah, you guys all know who these 2 are. My Transformer OCs, Axle and Magnia, as ponies from the new show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." I highly recommend that show, the flash animation is amazingly smooth and the expressions on the characters are so cute and funny!

So Axle turned out pretty good. I chose a more pearly palette of blue, it was easier on the eyes than his typical solid blue. I was gonna give him orangish wings to go along with Autobot Axle's helicopter blades as they appear in TF Animated, but that would kinda look weird. But I did give him the wings, cuz he flies in his Transformer form so that was fitting. He has a little war-horse styled mohawk which fit him well and kinda looks like his air intakes on his helmet. He has the Autobot logo on his left leg for a "Cutie Mark" and I'm not sure what to put on the right one yet... Ideas anyone?

Magnia looks cute, I'm not too fond of how her face turned out though. Female ponies faces are tough to draw. But I gave her the unicorn horn to go along with her yellow 'third eye' in her Transformer version. She has yellow hooves too. They're magnetic. She has a magnet as her Cutie Mark, and an Autobot logo on the left leg that you can't see right now. Also a pony tail, Magnia pretty much always looks good with one.

Well, these were really fun to draw, but trust me, it's harder than it looks! I wanna try more of this though, that show is really adorably awesome and deserves fanart! Although I'd like to see if I can kinda get them closer to the official style the show is in. Only time will tell. Oh, and I have the SG versions ready to digitize. They'll probably come tomorrow though, I need to get to sleep soon...
