I made Benny!

I didn’t realize it this whole time but I had the right pieces to make my own custom Benny!  The helmet is the newer more rounded version of the space helmets (also used for bike and scuba helmets in the past) but I did have blue of everything as well as several standard smiling Lego heads that worked perfectly together, even the oxygen tank!  No more having to wait for the Spaceship or Metalbeard’s Sea Cow set to come to stores (or spend loads of money on them to begin with)!

All that needs to be done to make him spot on is to paint the space logo on his chest and then scratch it up a bit, cut the jaw piece of his helmet and maybe put it in my mouth and chew it a bit to give it some play-wear marks.  Oh, and see the dust on top of his feet?  I think I’ll go ahead and keep that there.  :3

Anyone who has tons of Legos from your childhood, at least from the 90s and earlier, go through them and see if you can do this!  You’d be surprised, you probably have the right pieces!
