How brave of Axle!! He's finally found the courage to kiss her!

This was the scene near the end of this chapter [link] when Axle decided to go off on his own to Earth, but Magnia tried stopping him, but before he leaves, he decides to suck it up and do something he's been wanting to do for ages:

"Axle, wait a cycle! Axle, why did you just let that happen?!" but Axle kept on walking. "Why didn't you just tell Ultra Magnus the truth?! You realize you let Sentinel steal all your glory? Axle, look at me!" she said budging in front of him. "Seriously, this isn't like you! Now did you really scan anything?"

"Yes, I did." he replied and kept on walking.

"Then why didn't you just tell the commander that?!"

"Because the scanner is in my visor and I'm not giving them my entire helmet, I already lost my own personal audio recorder thanks to Sentinel! Besides, I'll be needing this helmet if I'm going to go help out the Autobots on that planet and protect the Allspark!"

"YOU'RE WHAT?!"

"You heard me! I'm going to go right a few wrongs and protect the Allspark from the Decepticons!"

"Axle, this is no time to be a hero! It's too dangerous, why not let the Elite
Guard handle this?!"

"Because they'll take a little longer to figure out the location, where as I have it right here with me, and I don't trust the Elite Guard to handle anything anymore, not while it's under the command of that sorry excuse of a trash bin, Sentinel Prime!"

"Axle, stop this! Don't be a fool! There's more than one Decepticon there, Starscream is probably one of them!"

"He is one of them, I heard the Cons say so. And I've handled many Decepticons before, I'm sure I can survive this! Sentinel hasn't even been in contact with a Decepticon yet, so I'd probably get the job done much quicker than
him!"

"Axle, please, this is stupid of you! Why not at least wait for the Elite Guard and come with them?"

"Because Sentinel won't allow such a 'lowly robot' as myself onto the Steelhaven and I need to redeem myself from losing the Allspark fifty stellar-cycles ago! I'm not giving up on my friends, and I'm not giving up on the Allspark!"

"Will you at least stay there on Earth until the Elite Guard comes? That way they won't get there and find it missing again, plus Sentinel will probably arrest you for stealing the Allspark or something."

"Of course, I'm gonna stay and guard it and try to figure this whole thing out! And I'm gonna protect my friends, I haven't seen them in too long!"

"But Axle, please, I strongly advise against this…"

"It'll be ok, Magnia, I won't get hurt, I promise you!"

"You always were a bit too heroic, you know…"

"Indeed, and I'm about to prove to Sentinel and everyone else that I can succeed."

"Please be careful out there, I don't want to lose you, you're one of my best friends!"

"I will. Oh and also, this conversation never happened." he said darting his optics back and forth to make sure no one was listening. "Please don't tell anyone, ok?"

"I won't tell anyone, but you do realize you're probably going to get in trouble for this, right?"

"Not if I find the Allspark will I!"

Magnia had a slight smile on her face, "I'll say it again, you really are a bit too heroic, Axle." she giggled.

"Thanks for noticing…" Axle then did the bravest thing ever; he kissed her on the side of the cheek. Magnia just stood there in awe of what he just did and didn't say a word, she even forgot to say goodbye to him. But Axle smiled to her and walked out the door to go on his dangerous mission.

Magnia touched the spot he just kissed and started to smile a little. One of her co-workers came up by her then.

"Magnia? Are you ok?" the co-worker asked.

"What? Oh yes, I'm alright." She replied.

"Why do you look like you just got your mind wiped and found love or something?"

"Probably cuz I think I just did..." Magnia said blushing.
