In honor of this awesome parody: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFV2ri…

I sketched this up a while ago during college and only just recently bothered to start digitizing it. These 3 quite possibly make the most epic party trio of all time I must say. :D We need more fanart of all of them!

And yes, I made Vinyl's eyes red. Sue me.

Well you started to watch me, so I guess what I can do in return is offer a critique, which is all I'm really good at.

This image is basic, which is fine. The main issue with this is your lighting. Over by Vinyl you have her entire character in decent light, slight shadows to the right hand side. This conflicts withe the floors lighting. The main reason for this is that it makes your light-source seem unapparent, which is fine for a simple piece, but this actually has a lot to do with lighting. Reason being? Lights everywhere. I want to think that your main light source is from above, seeing as you have direct shadows underneath the characters, and dark shading on places that aren't exposed as much to the light, like the crotch area. If this is the case, the lighting would take a very defined shading that extended DOWN, most likely from the waist down. This kind of lighting choice would have made the fact that Vinyl's leg, barely affected by darkness, actualyl fit in that dark void there.

Other stuff: Pinkie's left hoof is longer than her right. You can tell this because if you imagine the hoof outstretching like the other one, it would appear longer. This is also supported by the fact that her body is turned in a position where her right hoof would reach farther if they were both outstretched.

The Stallions left hoof seems so much smaller in width than the other, but this could just be a perspective issue.

Another thing, just preference, but they feel like they're hovering over the ground to me, like there's no gravity against them, and their hooves don't show the fact that they're on the ground. Flattening the bottoms would help this.
