How did you get the paint to be so smooth?

It's actually not smooth at all on these customs. I do much better with paint jobs nowadays and the key is to use a bit of water with the paint or it will come off rather goopy and have a texture when it's done.

What clay did you use?
If it was Sculpey, how did you get it to stick on the ponies? Did you bake the ponies wit the clay on them? If so, how long and what temperature?

Well I didn't take it off after baking them but nowadays I take it off and then paint the pony if need be and then I glue it on.

Thanks for the offer but I'm only sending my customs to people who win one on eBay once I get that started up and running. Not saying I dont' trust you, but I don't know you well enough yet to get into such a partnership. Thanks anyway. :)
