The Bon-Bon custom I made a while ago. I was gonna upload a pic like this but I wanted to wait till after I started putting her on eBay. But she was won quickly so there is no sign that says she's on eBay. Congrats to =DemonKaizoku for getting them!

Biggest problem with Bon-Bon I'd have to say is just the goopyness of the paint job and the sealant didn't really turn out so smooth either, but oh well. The eyes should also be like Pinkie's eyes, big and round, but she was made from an Applejack-styled bait. I do love the hair though, it's very 3D and very much how it seems in the show. :nod:

Well......*sniff*......this is the last I guess I'll see of her cuz I just wrapped her up in bubble wrap to be 'shipped' with Lyra! *shot*

The only real issue I have with this is is her coat color (isn't cream)- otherwise its fantastic. Sorry I can't do a proper critique, I'm a bit preoccupied.

Yeah, I've noticed.

Anywho, it's still very well made, the sculpting is very show accurate, and the cutie mark along with that. You must be really precise. What size brush do you use for painting cutie marks?

A really small one, I don't pay attention to sizes. :P

Was it the smallest one you could find?

it came in a pack of brushes and it was pretty short and sharp. One way I do it is that I wet the brush a bit and then shake it off and try to wring it out or let it dry so that it dries with all the hairs together in the shape of a point so that the end will be sharper which allows for better detail.

Mm. Okay. The smallest brush I use for stuff like that on customs (not ponies unfortunately) was something called a script liner. Came down to a pin point. But I was thinking it wouldn't work well with ponies. Second question- do you use any kind of paint sealant?

Um......never heard of one of those. Do they work good?

Yes, Mod Podge.

Man, I'm jealous of you sculpting skills! Every time I try to sculpt something, it turns out looking like a shapeless blob of despair ^^;
