Custom Apple Bloom

Description

Full page of my Apple Bloom custom with sculpted hair.

I removed her hair with some scissors, but I also used an exacto knife which I highly recommend, just be sure to cut away from yourself. I also used a real electric shaver but I wouldn't recommend that. Once it was all cut off, I sculpted the hair and put it on her head and butt and then baked her with Cheerilee and the other CMC's and voila! Her hair wasn't too difficult to shape, harder to get the lines put on, but not that difficult. Her bow is under her mane as you can see. I did that for a more secure hold on the bow in case it would drop off from being in the outside and now it's harder to come off. She can turn her head actually, just not very much to the left due to her hair being down there.

Remember that it IS safe to bake a pony in the oven, but it must be for 15 minutes at 275 degrees Fahrenheit. And when they come out, they won't melt, but they'll be pretty flimsy and gooey so let them cool off. I recommend sticking them in the fridge for a few minutes or in front of a fan.

Let me start out by saying this- You are getting a perfect on everything, and I mean it with every star. By far, this looks like it will be my favorite.

It looks stunning. It's beautiful and its incredibly accurate to the show, even the bow. This has proved to me again how badly Hasbro designs their initial toys, which is why we customizers labor with zeal to get them accurate.

As I've said, all customs are original to me. So I won't elaborate to much on this. It's your design for the hair and bow.

This probably took a painstaking amount of effort to get done, and it was worth every second. The amount of skill that this took is staggering, you probably had to have an image by your side to get the details right. Its also very symmetrical, if there is any asymmetry, its barely noticeable.

By far she's one of the best art pieces you've done, and I mean it with every bit of my soul. I can't really say much else, for I am simply at a loss for words now.
