Celestia gets her Cutie Markby *AleximusPrime

The cover to my upcoming fanfiction about Celestia getting her cutie mark. I still haven't thought of a title yet but it is a prelude to Age of the Alicorns: Chaos Rising.

You know, it's amazing what awesome things you can do in programs that aren't Adobe Photoshop.

Celestia and Accord (younger Discord) were drawn in Paint and the shading and background were made in Paint.net. The lens flare was rendered in GIMP.

I'll see if I can get that fic completed soon... For now, enjoy this pic.

It's been a while since I've written a critique, but I need to do so for this pic. The idea is something I haven't seen in a Celestia based picture before. The idea of how she reacts after getting her cutie mark is a great idea and something that hasn't been explored yet, or as far as I know. I have to say the sun glare from the sun itself adds more to the beauty of the picture itself and having Discord, or in this case Accord, be in this implies the two of them had a good friendship with each other. This is indeed a very interesting picture and unique a lot of ways. to me, this pic gets all five stars in every category.
