...because he helped revive Transformers and he's helping Hasbro a ton! Without him, there probably would be no TFA, there definitely wouldn't be a TF Prime right now, a lot of the current comics would never have happened, and the War for Cybertron game probably wouldn't have been developed. And as a result of all that, we wouldn't have any of the toys that came after the movies were made.

If you think his Transformers movies lack character or plot, then you probably haven't researched the story of the movie in the first place or else you know nothing about character or plot development. Bay wasn't in charge of the plot of the TF movies anyhow, the writers were, duh!

What's wrong with a little explosions and robot-fighting action? They're awesome!

The writer's strike of 2009 was to blame for the last-minute script writing of "Revenge of the Fallen", not Michael Bay (plus he didn't even write the darn script to begin with!)

The Twins aren't racist, ghetto is not a race, it's a stereotype. And even if they were, Bay didn't come up with their characters to begin with, so don't blame him.

Complaining about the way the robots look is a really stupid excuse to hate the movies. They were meant to look the way they do so as to make them look more alien-like and more complex. The only thing that didn't belong was Devastator's wrecking 'balls', nuff said.

Now on the other hand, I will admit that some things Bay has done are a bit risque, but I don't think it's our place to insult him. We owe him a lot and he deserves our gratitude! WE SALUTE YOU, MICHAEL BAY!!
