WARNING: READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU COMMENT SAYING ANYTHING OFFENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!

For those of you who don't know, Princess Celestia is the benign, gentle, and pure at heart ruler of the land of Equestria in "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." She has been around for thousands of years and has used her powers to rise and set the sun for everypony. But for some odd reason, in the fandom, people see her the total opposite way. I'm not sure when it started, who started it, or what they started it for, but people always make the Princess look like a troll or some evil tyrant.

First off, I just wanna say, no one is a troll in MLP because there is no internet. A "troll" is a person who does stupid things and goes around making fun of people and teasing them on the internet. It's a term for people on the internet, not real life, so technically, no one can be a troll in this show.....not unless they're big and ugly and dumb and sit under bridges waiting for the next billy goat to pass by. _{but obviously that's another kind of troll...}

Second of all, Celestia shows no signs of having "trollish" behavior in this show. She's very peaceful and loving and compassionate. There are some stupid excuses these fantards give though to defend their so-called beliefs:

Excuse #1: "Why would she banish her own little sister, Luna, to the moon?!"

Response: Um........DUH!!! Because her sister had turned evil by the power of Nightmare Moon and threatened to douse Equestria in eternal night! And besides, the narrator clearly tells us in the beginning of the first episode that she "RELUCTANTLY used the elements of harmony to banish her to the moon"!!! Do you guys know what the word "reluctantly" even means?!? It means you do something you don't want to but have to do anyways because you have no choice or you need to do it to help another person out. Celestia had no choice but to banish her to keep Equestria safe! She could have used her powers to kill her probably, I'm sure she has enough magic to do that, but she didn't, because she loves her sister and didn't want to go that route. And I can assure you that Celestia felt awful about the decision she made and wished she didn't have to do it, but she had no other choice! When Nightmare Moon returned 1000 years later, Celestia let her return because she knew Twilight was the one who could discover the secret power of the Elements of Harmony and use it to destroy Nightmare Moon. I'm guessing Celestia was banished or imprisoned somewhere by Nightmare after she returned because she didn't want to fight her or banish her again so she left it all in Twilight's hooves. Excuse #2: "She said it was the best Gala ever and it was a wreck and said she wanted the other ponies to come to 'liven' things up as if she wanted them to wreck it!"

Response: Ok, you're taking things waaaaaaay out of context here. What she probably meant was that she wanted them to come and make it not so boring as it always is. They ended up messing the Gala up and when the Princess said it was the "best GGG ever", I'm sure she meant that it was a lot more exciting than the other ones in the past. No one got hurt obviously and I'm sure that the Princess took care of the whole ballroom mess that they caused. She obviously didn't want the Gala to be utterly destroyed (and it wasn't, it was just a bit of a fiasco) but when she told them it was the best one, I'm sure she was just letting out her playful side and kind of mocking the Gala because it was always boring, but not in a rude kind of way, and she needed to let the ponies know they weren't in trouble. I'm sure that Celestia would really love to make the Gala better, but she wouldn't want to make herself look like a bad leader and disappoint all the aristoponies that attend it. And also, I can assure you that she did not set up the buffet to ruin Applejack's plans to sell her apple treats. But she obviously wouldn't cancel the buffet, it's a social gathering, you need food! She wasn't the one making the food anyhow!

Excuse #3: "Her favorite season is fall. Fall is when all the leaves die. Does Celestia enjoy seeing everything wilt away and die?!"

Response: I'm not joking, I saw a comment like this on YouTube under the "Fall Weather Friends" episode. And my simple response is.........are you seriously this stupid?!?

Excuse #4: "She was being such a troll when she played that coffee trick on Mr. and Mrs. Cake!"

Response: Again, trolling is something that happens on the internet, there is NO internet in MLPFIM!!! And that wasn't trolling, she was just having a bit of fun and meant no offense whatsoever! It was good she did that, it shows that the Princess has a playful and giggly side, why did you people have to go and ruin it?!? And I'm not too sure, but I think this is what started the whole Trollestia crap. I swear after that episode, Trollestia fanart popped up all across DA. Again, are you seriously this stupid?!?

Excuse #5: "Why would Twilight think that Celestia would banish Fluttershy or jail her for stealing Philomena? Could it be because she WOULD?!?"

Response: I don't think you guys were listening quite so closely. Right afterwards, Twilight said "Ok, granted that probably won't happen, but do you really wanna take a chance?" So it's only a possibility that Celestia would do that. But in the end of the show, the Princess said she would never banish or jail Fluttershy for doing it and asked Fluttershy why she thought that and Twilight looked like she was about to say, "Great going Twilight, you made the Princess sound like she would do it but really she's a lot better than that!" The conclusion to this is: Twilight can be a bit overly-dramatic at times... See?

Excuse #6: "Why is Luna not showing up in the rest of Season 1? Do you think Celestia has grounded her or maybe killed her in secret?"

Response: Well, given that Luna has to stay up at night to keep the moon up, she can't be awake during the day hereby making her nocturnal. She wouldn't have come with Celestia in "Fall Weather Friends" or "Bird in the Hoof" because she would be sleeping at that time. She could have been at the Gala since it was at night if you think about it though, but we'll all see Luna in Season 2, as promised by Lauren Faust, and maybe the question as to why she wasn't seen at the Gala may be answered. The only other reason I can give is that Luna may be in a bit of a rehabilitation state after all those years of basking in evil and banishment...

Excuse #7: "But I saw a picture the other day online of Princess Celestia trolling/bullying/hurting/killing/molesting/tormenting/mocking somepony!"

Response: People...........IT'S FANART!!! IT'S NOT CANON AND IT NEVER WILL BE CANON!!!!

So yeah, those are my logical reasons as to how Celestia is NOT in fact a troll or a dictator or anything. I know it's just fanart/fanfiction and it's not gonna affect the real show, but this is all just my opinion........no, this isn't my opinion, this is fact. If you don't believe or agree with this, well guess what, there's always the back button. In the words of Thumper, "If you can't say nothin nice, don't say nothin at all!"

Sorry if this information is so overwhelming and makes all you Trollestia supporters mad and go cry in your emo corner, but that's just the way things are and there is nothing you can do about it.

In conclusion people: respect our leaders, both real and make-believe!
