This is a short MLP:FiM minicomic series called "After the Gala" where the ending events of "Best Night Ever" are told in more detail according to each character. This page is Rarity and Spike's story, the final page.

Can you imagine how horrible Rarity must have felt after the Gala?! She longed to get to know Prince Blueblood for so many years and now she finds out he's a complete A-hole! I've been down that road before too, and the way you feel afterwards is rather depressing. Rarity is undergoing this same type of depression right now but luckily Spike is there to comfort her, that little gentleman! :3 And yeah, you all pretty much know what's gonna happen afterwards. They'll dance, Rarity will thank him, and her night will be made hereby bringing them closer as Spike had planned. No kissing or romance at the end though cuz I'm sure that'll happen later on in the show.

I saved Rarity for last cuz I thought this was a really sweet way to end it. And I saw this as a pretty good opportunity to make a shout out to "Equestria Girls"! So you know, I didn't draw them in their Gala dresses cuz I was kinda getting sick of drawing them, but they are still wearing some articles of clothing from the dresses. And yay for dancing Celestia! And breakdancing Pinkie Pie is so obvious!

You guys have no idea how much work was put into this one! I had to actually draw an entire separate page for the part with all the ponies dancing in the top panel! Their outlines are a bit smaller cuz they are farther back and I didn't wanna use really big outlines on them, so I just resized them while working in Paint.net cuz PDN is very good with resizing. I was gonna put the 2 colts that helped them get to the Gala in here, but that would be a bit too much work and then that would go against Rarity saying how there would be no gentleman to dance with her. In my fanfic, I'll probably put that in it at the end...

This was sketched on paper, and then I lined and colored all the characters and speech bubbles in Paint. I then used Paint.net to add in the background, which was also constructed in Paint along with the musical notes and lyrics in the top panel.
