This is a short MLP:FiM minicomic series called "After the Gala" where the ending events of "Best Night Ever" are told in more detail according to each character. This page is Applejack's story.

I'm sure Applejack would have been happy along with everypony else in Pony Joe's in the end, but she still didn't make barely any $ from her treats, so she must have felt pretty bad. But once again, Princess Celestia comes to the rescue and buys some treats from her! One sale for a load of treats which would have been enough for AJ to at least accomplish one of the goals she was aiming for (replacing the roof, Big Mac's plow, or Granny's hip), or maybe perhaps two. :)

I know that's like a millionth of what we saw her imagining she could earn in her Gala dream, but to be honest, she was standing on top of a mountain of coins, there's no way she would have made THAT much money! And Spike is there just because, and he was standing on that side of AJ in the end of the episode. As you can see, I'm still having trouble drawing his face. I'm gonna try fitting in other characters that won't be speaking but will just be there to fill in space although I failed to do that in Fluttershy's page. And Pony Joe will make an appearance or two in this short series. :nod:

This was sketched on paper, and then I lined and colored all the characters and speech bubbles in Paint. I then used Paint.net to add in the background, which was also constructed in Paint, as well as giving a zoom blur on the little rays shining from the coins in the last panel.

Rainbow Dash's story is next. :)

The other way to look at it is as compensation for all the personal injury and the damage to her baked goods which resulted in them being ruined and unsellable. That, and AJ looks very bruised and bedraggled there, does she not?

Backwards version: Applejack was happy about all the money she made at the Gala but then Celestia took her money away and was all like 'you cant sell stuff on my property, i will just take this money you made off you' and then Applejack was sad and spike was mesmerized by Applejack's hat.
